US soldiers on their way to Germany to the manoeuvre REFORGE
On the way to Germany, soldiers of the US army enter a plane of the type Starlifter C-141 on the Forbes Air Force Base in Topeka, USA, on 21 January 1969. They participate in the manoeuvre REFORGER I - Return of Forces to Germany'. Altogether, around 17.000 soldiers participated in the manoeuvre, many of them were brought from the USA to Germany via air bridge
