Soviet memorial in Berlin fenced off again by British troops
A British soldier stays guard in front of the fenced off Soviet memorial in Berlin-Tiergarten on the 8th of November in 1961. The memorial was fenced off, after there had been protests and riots in front of the memorial, which is located in the British sector of West-Berlin. It was freed from the barbed wire for a short time on the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the Communist October revolution
