Soviet military mission in Frankfurt is sealed off by US arm
A journalist (r) talks to representatives of the Soviet military mission in Frankfurt am Main on the 11th of March in 1960. The mission had been seales off by the US army shortly before and inhabitants only were allowed to leave with an allied escort. The same happened with the Soviet military missions in the French zone in Baden-Baden, and in the British zone in Westphalia. It was a reaction on problems of the US military mission in Potsdam, GDR
