Storm tide in Hamburg 1962: Evacuated children
A group of children that was evacuated from the areas affected by the storm tide, spends a night in a provisional emergency camp in Pestalozzi School in Hamburg-St. Pauli on the 19th of February in 1962. All in all, 300 people died in the storm tide, several thousand people became homeless. Especially Wilhelmsburg, a part of Hamburg, was affected
