Tank damages in the Luneburg Heath
A uniformed man and a child walking through deep furrows on 2nd June 1950 near Uelzen in the Luneburg Heath. The furrows were caused by British tanks which drove through a nursery during a maneuver. Despite warning signs the British troops kept on damaging the nature of Luneburger Heath during their maneuvers
