Theobald von Bethmann-Hollweg
Politician Theobald von Bethmann-Hollweg in a contemporary picture. He became imperial chancellor in 1909 and Prussian minister president. He had already aimed for a peace resolution in November 1914. After Ludendorff and Hindenburg had taken over the Supreme Army Command in 1916, he lost rapidly lost political power. He was born on the 29th of November in 1856 in Hohenfinow near Eberswalde and died there on the 2nd of January in 1921
