US troop transport arrives in Berlin after trip through Sovi
The first vehicles of the combat group of the 47th US infantry regiment arriving at the allied Berlin checkpoint Dreilinden on 5th March 1962 and getting welcomed by a brass band. The American soldiers, coming from the FGR, had to drive through the Soviet zone to relieve the US troops already stationed in Berlin. The journey proceeded without any problems
