US troop transport arrives in Berlin after trip through Sovi
US combat groups being welcomed by a cheering crowd at their arrival at Zehlendorfer Kleeblatt in Berlin on 20th August 1961. The American soldiers, coming from the FGR, had to drive through the Soviet zone to reinforce the US troops already stationed in Berlin. The journey proceeded without any problems
