US troop transport to Berlin leads through the Soviet zone

The combat group of the 3rd US infantry regiment again driving through Soviet zone near the allied checkpoint Dreilinden on their way to Berlin on 10th November 1961. The American soldiers, coming from the FGR, had to drive through the Soviet zone on their way to an exercise in Berlin. The journey proceeded without any problems
