US troop transport passes Allied check point Dreilinden
A convoy of the US army passes the Allied border crossing point Dreilinden on the 11th of October in 1963. The troops had to drive through the Soviet zone on their way to the Federal Republic of Germany. There are long latency times due to prolonged checks and border controls by the Soviet and GDR border soldiers at the border crossing points Marienborn and Babelsberg. There are almost no severe incidents
