A woman in straw bonnet and petticoats mounts a gentleman in a park, 18th century. A statue of Cupid with his arrow watches from above. Copperplate engraving heliogravure by Francois Rolland Elluin - after Antoine Borel from Jean-Charles Gervaise de Latouche's Memoiren des Saturnin, von ihm selbst Niedergeschreiben, Privatdruck, Liepzig, 1911. Also known as Le Portier des Chartreux, it was one of several erotic novels written by Latouche, 1715-1782, a lawyer at the Paris Parliament
