She wears a round English hat in beaver skin, decorated with a cavalier feather and deep red ribbon. She wears a spencer over a low-cut dress. Her chemise is cut out over the bust but tied at the neck like a cravat. Handcolored etching by Auguste Etienne Guillaumot Jr. from Costumes of the Directory, Rouquette, Paris, 1875. The etchings were made from designs by Eugene Lacoste and Draner after prints of the era 1795-99
