Aerial view of the Queens Dock, Swansea, Wales. The Queen's dock was opened in 1920 following the construction of oil handling/import facilities at the nearby BP oil refinery at Llandarcy. In the 1950s, usage of the Queen's Dock reached its peak with oil imports and exports topping 8 million tonnes each year
