Railway Station as abandoned by the remnants of the Ottoman Empire's Yildirim Army Groups (commanded by Mustafa Kemal Pasha - Ataturk) following the Battle of Aleppo, fought on 25th October 1918, when Prince Feisal's Sheifial Forces captured the city during the Pursuit to Haritan from Damascus (in the last days of the Sinai and Palestine Campaign in the First World War)
