A model 1919/21 dagger for officers of the Imperial navy

A model 1919/21 dagger for officers of the Imperial navy, no maker indicated Nickel-plated blade without maker's mark. Pommel and crossguard made from non-ferrous metal, black plastic grip with wire winding. Push-button scabbard release. Gilt scabbard model 1921 showing a hammered pattern with two knot-shaped suspension bands. Length 33 cm. Rare type of dagger from an officer, who's military career most probably ended before the new model 1929 was introduced. With the model 1921 the black steel scabbard of model 1919 was substituted by this type of scabbard with hammered finish
