Satire of a London doctor profiting from an 1835 cholera epidemic, tucking into a cholera pie. The knife is labelled with the name of medical journal The Lancet while the table is labelled Board of Wealth. There was a great deal of suspicion and anger directed at the medical profession in the early 1830s as cholera erupted in Britain
