Siege of Ochakiv
The siege of Ochakiv (or Ochakov) in the Ukraine was one of the major events of the Russo-Turkish War of 1787 - 1792. Russian forces led by Prince Grigori Potemkin and General Alexander Suvorov besieged the city, controlled by the Ottoman army under the command of Hasan Pasha.
