Page from The Bystander, 6th May 1931 featuring Ada May (1896-1978), American singer and dancer, one of the bright particular stars of C.B. Cochran's ill-fated "1931 Revue". Since the early demise of that show, she has scored a big hit at the Palladium in a short revue produced by Cochran, and is seen here in one of her most successful sketches "The Half-Caste Woman"
