Levenshulme landgrabbers

Landgrabbers imitated by the rising generation. The unemployed who grabbed and tried to cultivate land at Levenshulme, Manchester, have been imitated by the children of the neighbourhood, who jumped a claim, planted a garden and invited Arthur Smith, the leader of the movement, to come and admire their work. Arthur Smith was forcibly evicted by the agents of the owner of the ground he had seized
