Record aeroplane flight at Issy-les-Moulineaux, just outside Paris by Henri Farman (1874 - 1958), British-French aviator. Wins the Deutsch-Archdeacon prize of 50, 000 francs, for flying kilometre in a closed circuit without touching ground and landing for 1 minute and 28 seconds
