Amusement by the Meuse by H. L. Oakley
Some scenes showing troops billeted in the valley of the Meuse after the signing of the Armistice spending their leisure time on round of golf, sledging, a cross-country run on horseback or at a dance. The tall figure in the centre of the top picture and at the front on a sledge is General Lambert, GOC of the 32nd Division. Captain H. L. Oakley, the silhouette artist, was Lambert's ADC and so these silhouettes are cut from first hand experience
