Annette Marie Sarah Kellerman (1886 - 1975), Australian swimmer, film star, and writer. One of the first women to wear a one-piece bathing costume, causing a minor scandal at the time. Pictured in a photograph that demonstrates the claim by a number of well-known American doctors that she possessed, the most perfect female figure in the world. At the time she was appearing at the London Hippodrome as a mermaid in The Treasure Ship in the Fairy Seas
