An auction of fashion in aid of Belgian Relief Fund, WW1
Page from The Tatler reporting on a fashion show and auction of dresses at the Savoy Hotel in aid of the Belgian Relief Fund at the Savoy. Held on King Albert of Belgium's birthday, the dresses were all British-made by Reville and Rossiter and the auction was presided over by the actor and music hall artiste, Joseph Coyne. The gowns were all modelled by famous stage actresses.
