The West Indian driver of a London bus talks to a bus conductor, also West Indian. Photograph used in an article in the Illustrated London News on the changes to workers in Britain due to immigration. At the time, it says 15.6% of London Transport operatives were coloured and 4000 drivers and conductors of London buses were too. Figures and research provided by the West Indian Standing Conference
