The finance of the Empire had mobilised, and the Imerial Government has sustained the money-power of the Grand Alliance by loans to her Allies and Dominions aggregating 450.000.00. In one year of peace she spent 173.000.000 sovereigns in one year of War she spent 2.382.000.000
