British officer & wounded soldier drinking tea, train statio
Illustration depicting a scene described by a correspondent in The Sphere magazine at a big railway station in Yorkshire when a badly wounded soldier painfully alighted from a train and was spotted by an officer from the Royal Army Medical Corps who noticed the broken warrior and engaged him in conversation before offering him a cup of tea. Afterwards, he organised a bath chair for the man so he was wheeled out of the station in comfort
