Three children decorating a Christmas tree. Susan Pearse was a regular contributor to the Sphere and other ILN titles. Her illustrations in childrens books and on posters (including the Start-rite shoes children still in use today) recall the style of Mabel Lucie Attwell and Honor Bishop
