Children at North Haringey School
A class at North Haringay Infant School enjoying a dance or PE lesson. The photograph, by Henry Grant, shows the multi-racial mix of children in the school, a reflection of growing immigration in London. The school's headteacher, Mrs C.P. Payne told the Illustrated London News of the advantages of a multi-racial community, We make a lot of our luck in having children from so many different countries. World Children's Day is a great occasion here
