Cinderella at the London Hippodrome

Cinderella, the first pantomime at the London Hippodrome, which received rave reviews. Top photographs show Hetty Chattel as the Prince, Ruth Lytton as Dandini and Amy Farrell as Cinderella. The bottom picture shows the ballroom scene with a minuet being danced. The Hippodrome's clown, Marceline, can be seen taking a bow in the role of Buttons. Charlie Chaplin made one of his first stage appearances in Cinderella in the chorus
