Clarissa Tennant
Clarissa Madeleine Georgiana Felicite Tennant (1896 - 1960), daughter of 1st Baron Glenconner pictured staring into the fire. She was one of the last debutantes to be presented at court in the summer of 1914, before the Great War interrupted the tradition. She married three times, first to Adrian Bethell in 1915 (divorced 1918), then to Major Lionel Tennyson and finally to James Beck. Barbara Cartland described her as, "the most beautiful woman I had ever seen."
