The collision in the Channel - the rescue of passengers from the packet steamer "Seaford" by the S.S. "Lyon". The Graphic reports how as the two ships lay almost side by side, the gap widened from 3 feet to 10 feet making the rescue of passengers tricky, especially among more timorous women
