Columbia Market, London 1869
Columbia Market, Bethnal Green, east London, built by Angela Burdett-Coutts as a covered food market. It opened in 1869, and adjoined a set of model dwellings for working class families also built by Miss Coutts. (Later the site of Columbia Road Flower Market.)
