The Commissariat Camp in the Crimea, 1855
Part of the British Army camp responsible for stores and provisions during the Crimean War. By the end of the Crimean war the camp was running smoothly and was well provided for, in contrast to the winter of 1854 when men died of frostbite and malnourishment
