Coronation 1937 - Bond Street arrayed in white
Bond Street hung with white banners which are floodlit to celebrate the Coronation of King George VI in May 1937. The white banners, 30 feet by 6 feet, fell to within 12 feet of the pavement and had a coloured Plantaganet crown at its foot. The street design was by Anne Acland
