Countess Haugwitz-Reventlow, formerly Miss Barbara Hutton (1912-76) pictured at the fashionable Venice Lido in 1938 wearing a Chinese style pyjamas. Hutton, the Woolworth's heiress, dubbed, poor little rich girl by the press was a socialite and philanthropist. Reventlow was the second of her seven husbands, and during her marriage to him in the 1930s, suffered verbal and physical abuse
