Crew of the Arctic exploration ship, Pandora, using one of the ship's boats to capture a young Polar bear in Arctic waters, 1875. The Pandora was used by Sir Allen Young in two attempts (1875 and 1876) to search for the Northwest Passage, around the northern coast of Canada and Alaska, and any traces of the missing Franklin expedition of 1845
