Cumberland Lodge after fire
The smouldering ruins of Cumberland Lodge, Windsor following a fire in which most of the state apartments were destroyed. The house was rebuilt under the supervision of Princess Helena, daughter of Queen Victoria, whose husband, Prince Christian of Schleswig-Holstein, was made Ranger of Windsor Great Park. The property traditionally came with the role. Today, it is home to a charity
