David McFall with model of Churchill statue
Sculptor David McFall with the 3 ft. plaster model of the 8ft 6 in statue he created of Sir Winston Churchill, commissioned Churchill's constituents in Woodford, Essex. Churchill was elected to the Epping seat in 1924 and held it until 1945 when the new constituency of Woodford was created. Churchill then held this seat until his retirement in 1964. The bronze statue, which can be seen is a Grade II listed structure. It can be seen on Woodford High Road between South Woodford and Woodford Green
