The Deck of the SS Gallia, 1879
The deck, funnel and masts of the Cunard Company's Steamship Gallia at sea, 1879. Launched earlier that year, the Gallia worked for the Cunard Line until 1897 when she was sold to the Beaver Line. Two years later she was sold to the Allan Line and the next year she was stranded on Sorel Point, Quebec, then salvaged and finally scrapped
