Nancy Mitford and her sister Diana (Mrs Bryan Guinness) at The Midnight Ballet Party which took place the Carlton Theatre in aid of Queen Charlotte's Hospital. Diana is wearing a dress she was also photographed in by Madame Yevonde (see image number 10221089) and has her hair chopped into a fringed style, which to our knowledge, was very temporary
