The Dolly Sisters performing their Persian Dance 1921
The Dolly Sisters as they perform their Persian dance in the League of Notions, a popular revue at the New Oxford. Both wore dancing silver Persian dresses with skull-caps and began their performance in a silver chiffon cloak which one of the sisters is still wearing in the picture. Despite being attractions at the New Oxford, the Dolly Sisters travelled at the end of each show to the London Pavilion in order to perform their Pony Trot in the last scene of the Fun of the Fayre
