Don't let anything with legs on come between us, darling by

Humorous colour illustration by George Ernest Studdy (1878-1948) showing Bonzo with a Pekingese friend showing surprise at a spider who is suspended from a thread between them. Studdy created Bonzo for The Sketch magazine in the early 1920s. He was hugely popular with the character spawning a range of merchandise from plush toys to ink wells
