Easter Sunday in Brittany 1908
Distributing eggs to poor children in the neighbourhood. A custom amongst the farmers of Finistere, after returning from High Mass on Easter Sunday. The eggs were stained red and the ceremony took place at the front door of the farmhouse, the children donning their Sunday clothes and singing an Easter hymn
