Portrait of the Prince of Wales accompanying news that he had cut short his holiday in Africa (spent partly with his brother, the Duke of Gloucester) to hurry home to England after receiving news that his father, King George V, was gravely ill. He embarked for home from Dar-es-Salaam on the Enterprise on 2 December 1928
