King's journey from London to the train station, where he was going to recuperate on board his yacht HMY Victoria and Albert'. Photograph showing the extreme precautions to ensure absolute privacy, before the coronation in August. Leaving from a different gate at Buckingham Palace from the other members of the Royal family, Edward VII was conveyed in a special ambulance carriage with drawn blinds, from the back entrance of the Palace
