Edward VII lying-in-state in Westminster Hall
Edward VII, who passed away on 6 May 1910, at the age of 69. The King's body lay-in-state in Westminister Hall, London, guarded by officers of the Household troops, Gentlemen-at-Arms and Yeomen of the Guard. For three days a vast amount of people, who had patiently waited for hours in a huge queue of several miles come to pay their respects
