Edward VII's coffin borne into St George's Chapel

The coffin of the late king Edward VII borne into St George's Chapel in Windsor. His late Majesty, as Sovereign of the Realm, was Sovereign of the Order of the Garter. It was fitting that the funeral service should take place in St George's, Windsor, the Chapel of the Order. Resting on the pall carried behind the coffin, are the Crown, the Orb, the Sceptre, and the Insignia of the Garter. Behind it can be seen royal mourners, including Queen Alexandra with her left hand in that of her son, King George; the Kaiser, with the Empress Marie of Russia; the Duke of Cornwall and Prince Albert; and the King of Bulgaria
