Edward VII's racing victories

Three other of the King's Derby winners are laid over the image; Diamond Jubilee (1900 - top), Persimmon (1896, left) and Minoru, the winner of the King's last Derby before his death in 1910. Among Edward's numerous social and leisure pursuits, horse-racing was very much one of his favourites, even hearing with gratification of racing success on his death-bed
