A fashionable tailor suit of pavement-grey whipcord. The skirt is pleated on a high corselet belt, thereby hanging in graceful folds, The coat is long-waisted, the basque full, large revers breaking the monotony above the waistline, the scheme completed by a high collar and gauntlet cuffs. At Gooch's. The accompanying text by M.E. Brooke speaks of Fashion's Flight to London as a result of the First World War, and declares that, this is one of the most wonderful things that this most terrible war has yet brought about
