Fighting between Italians and Arabs, near Tripoli 1911
Some of the bitter fighting between Italian Bersaglieri troops (infantry with feathered helmets) and Arab cavalry (centre) at an oasis outside Tripoli. In this action 300 out of 400 Bersaglieri were killed, but still managed to win the day
